Kimberly Chia’s husband roasts netizen who called the actress an 'average Jane'
Kimberly Chia’s husband, businessman Vincent Yeo, 35, is pretty darn witty, as we recently found out after scrolling through his TikTok.
Yes, he has a TikTok and it’s full of adorable videos of the couple’s son, Kyzen, one, and sweet tributes to Kimberly, 27.
And in this video, posted in end-May, Vincent goes head-to-head with some boliao netizens.
The video featured Kimberly in her red-carpet best for the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts premiere event in Singapore. It came with a pretty rizz voice-over too.
“Three things I’ve never seen in my life. 1. Aliens 2. Dinosaurs 3. A girl more beautiful than you,” said the narrator.
Like we said earlier — so sweet, right?
Well, turns out it wasn’t quite good enough for a couple of netizens.
So much rizz.
First, we had netizen number one, who griped: “You should go out and see more people”.
But worry not 'cos Vincent did not falter at all in his reply.
“I prefer to keep my eyes to the only woman I married. You go enjoy yourself. I guess you need it," he said.
Ooh...
Then came the contender number two, who decided to reference a popular Hokkien saying, “bak chiew tak stamp”, which basically means that a person is blind 'cos they have stamps plastered over their eyes.
“I need to post this snail mail out. Can I borrow the stamps on your eyes?” the awful netizen wrote.
Not that Vincent is bothered.
He replied: “Thanks for trying to crack a joke. But you need to do better to make people laugh”.
Why so mean?
And finally, this netizen, who couldn’t quite manage to word his insult properly, but did refer to Kimberly as “just average Jane” in his comment.
“No idea what you are trying to say. Thanks for your below average comment,” Vincent wrote in reply.
Ouch.
Now this is a zinger that we’re definitely shelving away for future use. Thanks, Mr Kimberly Chia. Please don’t say that we’re below average too.
