HK singer sang karaoke with Coco Lee last month, says star appeared fine and could walk normally

Many fans and stars have reminisced about their meeting with Mandopop diva Coco Lee following the star’s sudden passing last week.
Hong Kong singers Miranda Lee and Raymond Lo, who participated in the first season of TVB singing contest Midlife, Sing & Shine! alongside Coco’s sister and ex-manager, Nancy, shared that they had just met Coco three weeks before her passing and that she “looked well and did not appear unusual”.
They were singing karaoke at Nancy’s home and Coco joined in the fun.
“Though she didn’t dance, she walked normally, and even knelt down when chatting with us. She had no airs at all, so when I heard her the news [of her death], I felt very uncomfortable and sad,” Miranda told reporters.
Coco had undergone surgery for her leg in February and had to learn to walk again.

Miranda also reminisced about their karaoke session on Instagram, writing: “It was a great honour to meet you. I heard your voice in my dream... You were very approachable and said that you liked to hear me sing. We sang ‘DiDaDi’ together. You said that you enjoyed chatting and singing karaoke with us, and that we should go for BBQ together when the weather is good. It’s unbelievable that you’re gone.”

Coco’s friendly and sincere ways had also left a deep impression on Raymond.
He recalled that his eldest sister had invited Coco to her restaurant for a meal hoping to surprise his second sister, who is a huge fan of the star, and they were so shocked when she showed up and even made a repeat visit.
She told the siblings that she could feel their tight bond as she is very close with her two older sisters too.
