Durian with McDonald's chilli? Netizens grossed out by SGAG Xiaoming's weird food combo

We've seen all sorts of ridiculous food combinations on the Internet but local influencer SGAG Xiaoming's new "creation" has to be the most mind-boggling one.
In a video he posted on Instagram yesterday (Jul 3), Xiaoming, 36, asked his followers if they've tried eating Mao Shan Wang durian with McDonald's signature garlic chilli sauce.
He then squeezed some chilli onto a piece of durian. "It's damn good. I show you. Look at this," he said before savouring the, um, chilli-enhanced durian.
Xiao Ming went on to urge his followers to try his method. "It's the best. It will change the way you eat durian forever," he urged.

We're not sure about Xiaoming's state of mind when he shot that video but his followers and celeb pals were lucid enough to not heed his advice.
"CANNOT LAAAAAA," wrote Mediacorp actress Jernelle Oh while actor Shawn Thia said: "What the".
Local influencer Isabelle Quek even tagged her showbiz pal Samantha Tan in her caption, which read: "Next time we cannot squeeze out a reel to post we just shoot something as ridiculous."
Meanwhile, a netizen commented: "Hello pulis [police]" while another said: "I once respected you a lot bro, but this time you really crossed the line #savedurian".
And in case you're as, ahem, experimental as Xiaoming, here are some other really weird viral food combis you can try out.

1. McDonald’s Oreo McFlurry & Hashbrown Hack
We're not sure what's with people mixing McDonald's food items these days but this hack, which involves McFlurry ice cream sandwiched between two hashbrowns, was actually initiated by McDonald’s themselves.
Before you try it out... maybe you should hear what Joel Choo and dad Zhu Houren, who boldly tried the hack last month, have to say about it.
While Joel said it's better to “just enjoy them separately", Houren went: "It’s not bad, but I won’t dare eat too much".
2. Watermelon with Yellow Mustard
This food hack shared by TikTok content creator @yayayayummy is said to satisfy your cravings for something sweet, tangy and vinegary at the same time.
It's also really easy to make. All you have to do is, slice up some watermelons and, well, squirt mustard on them, and there you go!
3. Hotdog with Peanut Butter
This might sound kinda funky at first, but if you think about it.. it's kinda like dipping hotdogs into satay sauce?
Apparently, the peanut butter melts perfectly into a buttery sauce when put with the piping hot hotdogs, and the nuttiness is said to really complement the hotdog's savoury-yet-sweet flavour.
Whatever it is... we're sure they taste better than Xiaoming's Mao Shan Wang with garlic chilli sauce, which is just... a big fat no.
